Introducing the new generation "ROY".

Roy Cinch, the original Roy cinch.

I am Roy Robinson from the original Roy Bits & Spurs and have always provided top quality bits, spurs, and saddle hardware for all casual and competitive horsemen in the horse industry.  My latest product is the Roy Cinch.  The same commitment to quality of design, materials and workmanship, that established my bits and spurs as a leader in their field, applies to my cinches.  Think “ROY” the next time you cinch up your saddle.

There is not another cinch on the market that can compare to the beauty or the functional capabilities of the "ROY" cinch.   The buckle is a "ROY" original and is unique in design.  It is made of solid stainless steel with a roller that is truly "State of the Art" that prevents tweaking or turning.  Latigos have never pulled so easily or so smooth.  No more jerking to cinch your saddle.   "ROY" cinches have the same quality, balance, and craftsmanship that I offered 42 years ago with my famous bits and spurs.  I have hand-woven "American Pride" into each and every cinch.  Being the traditionalist that I am, I like to weave my cinches using 27 strands of 100% mohair and comes in two styles, STRAIGHT (sometimes referred to as "CUTTER") or FLARED (sometimes referred to as "ROPER").  There is an extra added bonus for "ROY" cinch owners: The buckles will last forever, so when the mohair shows signs of wear and needs restringing, send your cinch back to us and for a reasonable fee and we will make it like new again.

Cinches (also called cinchas) have long been made of cord or strings of various fibers.  As I stated above, my mohair cinches are either straight (cutting) style or flared (roping) style.  The straight cinches are the same width their entire length.  The roping cinches are wider in the center.  Some riders who don't rope prefer roping cinches because of a wider surface bearing area.  This spreads the pressure of the saddle and the rider's shifting weight over a larger area.  In my opinion, the flared cinch is more comfortable for the horse.   The natural fibers of mohair allow the horse's skin to breathe and the hair to dry as the horse works and sweats.  When properly cared for, these cinches can have a long lifespan.  It is important to keep your cinch clean to make it last longer but more importantly a clean cinch helps to not gall your horse.

Manufacturing top of the line products for the equine industry over the past 42 years has defined who I am.  I have built my reputation on the practice of never compromising quality, no matter what the cost.  Each and every cinch is hand woven to my standards, and no order goes out the door without my approval.

Compare my mohair cinch to any other cinch on the market today, and you will (without a doubt) find that there is no equal.  So rest assured you are getting the best of the best!
